COVID-19 Update

Smart devices – As a result of COVID-19, some NDIS participants may be eligible to access smart devices, so they are able to continue to access services through telehealth and videoconferencing by using funding in their Core – Consumables budget. This will require a letter from an Occupational Therapist or health professional to determine that the recommended device relates to your disability.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – NDIS participants are eligible to purchase PPE including face masks, face shields and gloves through their NDIS plan if it meets the NDIS reasonable and necessary criteria. For example, when your NDIS providers are providing you with supports.
